Q: How do you preserve flowers?
A: We preserve fresh flowers so they keep their natural shape and color. We treat each flower so it will not fade to brown. The flowers are then put under glass to be kept indefinitely as a family heirloom.
Q: What containers are available for the preserved flowers?
A: We have a lovely range of oval frames with convex glass, rectangle frames, and cabinets and tables to choose from. Silk bouquets can also be framed and protected from dust and grime. See our showroom page for more information
and pictures.
Q: What should I do to prepare for the preservation of my bouquet?
A: Call for an appointment before your wedding, so we can estimate the cost and give you instructions on the care of your Bouquet. Never freeze flowers. For local weddings, designate someone to bring the flowers to Bridal Blossoms after the wedding. For out-of-state weddings, call for more information.
Q: Do you have gift certificates?
A: Yes, gift certificates are available.
Q: What are your qualifications? -- How long have you been in business?
A: The proprietor has been involved in the floral industry since 1959 and had her own business in Portland, OR since 1974 specializing in wedding flowers. The preservations started commercially in the mid 1980s.
